Friday was National Park Day, so we picked up a few friends and went to the Huntsville Botanical Gardens with free passes from the home & garden magazine website to celebrate the special day. The gardens still had our old favorites (the beautiful flowers, the pirate ship tree house, the fairytale garden, and the butterfly house) but they have continued to add exciting new exhibits. This time the kids enjoyed digging for worms, smelling fresh herbs, and playing barefoot in a stream lined with lily pads. Another perfect, super fun, adventurous day. :)
