We took a quick little trip to Buford Georgia this weekend. We went to see Sean's brother & his Grandparents who were visiting from Florida. It was one of the most relaxing getaways we've had in a long time. We had absolutely nothing planned but to relax and visit with family. I usually pack our adventures with little places to visit and new minute by minute scheduled fun, so it was a nice change of pace to just sit and enjoy being with the ones we love. Here are a few pictures of the cousins and Lake Lanier.

Outside fun
The weather has been gorgeous, so we've been having all kinds of outside fun. Here are a few pics of our side walk masterpieces...
We had a beautiful Easter. The kids got baskets of goodies, we had a fun time at church, and we spent the rest of the day eating, coloring eggs, and playing Uno attack.
We also went strawberry picking with a group of friends. We love Brown farms, and this time we went early in the season, so the berries were dripping from the branches.

Babies
We found these sweet little babies in a bush in our front yard. We have had so much fun watching them grow, watching their mommy feed them, and listening to them chatter back and forth. They are so adorable!

New Orleans
We left from the port of New Orleans, so we went down a day early to do some sight seeing before our trip. We got to see Grandpa & Grandma a whole day sooner than we planned and we also got to meet a Glouner cousin who owns a restaurant in a nearby city. It was so neat to see fellow Glouners... there really aren't that many of us. Although we'd never met, there was that immediate feeling of kinship as they each noticed similar physical features and mannerism in one another. It was such a special day. PS. New Orleans is such a dirty city. I love its character and its rod iron balconys, but the entire city stinks. We stayed in a super nice hotel. Our room was probably bigger than our first apartment, but we walked outside of the super gauty lobby and skirted past the bellhop to see puke splattered all over the sidewalk. Yep. It's that gross.

The Last Day
Our last day was so somber. We had a nice relaxing breakfast before we left, but no one wanted to leave. Here are a few pics from our last day while we were waiting for our call to debark.

Coba Mexico
Just outside of the entrance to the Myan Ruins, there was a small grouping of shops where the native Myans sold little trinkets. This gave Drew the perfect opportunity to try out his minimal Spanish and purchase a few souveniers. He was fearless as he walked up and began haggling for a few special gifts to take home.
