What a week! The doctor said the baby's lungs should be developed enough for delivery, so we are officially on baby watch. The bag is packed, the car seat is in the car...all we need is a baby. To celebrate me no longer being confined to bed, we had a night out on the town. We went to the Botanical Gardens and saw all of the beautiful Christmas lights. Then we went to see a movie together and walked around Bridge Street. I also went back to work this week. It was great to get out of the house and earn a bit more money, but all I wanted to do was crawl back into bed. I really shouldn't have complained so much when I was forced to lay around because I'm just pretty miserable lugging this big 'ole belly around.
We got to go to Drew's Christmas party at school today. It is so fun to watch him interact with the other kids. We listened to Christmas music, ate some goodies, colored some Christmas pictures, and frosted some sugar cookies. It was fun to be with him, and I'm trying to enjoy every moment I have left of being able to devote all of my time and energy to him alone. I still haven't figured out how I'm going to balance having two kiddos. I'm actually quite nervous, but I guess there's no turning back now....

Yay! for an end to the bed rest! We are all anxiously awaiting news of Madison's arrival. Good luck!
Sweet Amanda,
We all felt as you do now...I couldn't imagine being able to love anyone as much as I loved Douglas. The amazing thing was that I did. Your capacity for love is multiplied with each person added to your life. You're such a wonderful mother and now you get to share it with three of the most wonderful people in the world...Sean, Drew and little Madison. We're looking forward to the news of her safe arrival!
Love ya much!
Aunt Darlann
