This ship was used on D-Day to transport troops, tanks, & supplies. They have turned it into a floating museum, and docked along the Tennessee River for a few days, and we were able to go take a tour. It was incredibly hot, but the kids loved every sweaty second of it.

Temple
In our church, we worship in chapels, but we also have special buildings called temples where we can go to worship and commit ourselves to live Christ-like lives. You have to be 12 years old to go to this super special place, and our kiddo turned 12 and chose to go. I am so happy for him. I'm happy that he's chosen to follow Christ and to keep his body and mind pure so that he can enter this sacred place. My sweet sisters got to come with us; I cherish every moment with these girls, so it made it even more special that they could be there to support Drew in his choice. And if everyone would like to stop growing up so fast, I'd be fine with that too. :)

bows and arrows
I volunteered at the scout camp this summer, and my two love bugs came with me. While the scouts were busy doing activities, my two got to have some practice time with the bows and arrows.

swim days
We had so much fun at the pool this summer. The kids are much more comfortable in the water now. They both go under water with their sexy little goggles on, and are learning how to swim, and dive, and even do headstands in the water.
