Cathedral cavern state park
We visited cathedral cavern state park this weekend. We've been before but not with Maddi. She was so excited to go and in complete awe the entire time. Drew's favorite part was when the turn all of the lights off at the very end to show you how dark it really is in a cave. I enjoyed the nice 59 degree temperature compared to the outside 91! Such a humbling thing to experience the beautiful Earth God created for us.

scout camp
I took pictures of the boy scout camp this summer. Drew isn't in the age group for this camp any more, but I still enjoy volunteering and helping out. Drew was working on the farm, but Maddi came to help too, and even got to shoot the bow and arrows and play on the water slide with the scouts.

A teenager
My baby is now a teenager. He's handsome and kind, loves music & video games, works hard and keeps me laughing. I love him so much and it's just amazing to watch him grown and learn and blossom into an amazing man.
He got braces the week before his birthday & then celebrated his big day by taking a bunch of his friends to a trampoline park. Oh and he's now taller than me and reminds me every day just to make sure I don't forget. :)

Fireworks
This 4th of July we watched fireworks at the space & rocket center. It rained through most of them so I didn't get many pictures, but we still had fun!

Fishy
We joined a community pool this summer so the kids have been swimming like fish. M worked really hard to pass the swim test so she didn't have to wear a life jacket in the pool, and this week she finally did it! She swam all the way across the pool without touching the bottom or the sides. Seeing her so proud of herself and her hard work made me so happy for her! (Oh and her front teeth finally came in and she looks adorable & way too grown up)

my babies
I've been cleaning out my memory cards on my camera and I found these old pictures. They're obviously old because Maddi is only missing one tooth here and she's already lost both front teeth and her grown up teeth are already in. It makes me a little sad because she looks so old now. She's an amazing girl though and I'm glad she's growing, she's healthy, she's sassy and funny, and that she's always ready to have fun. She loves swimming, loves babies animals and princesses, and always wants to pick out her own shoes. She keeps me busy and reminds me to be excited about the little things in life.
Drew is almost a teenager. I just can't believe it. He's strong, passionate, dedicated, and silly. He is now taller than me, has to shop in the men's department for clothes, and wears bigger shoes than me. He enjoys trying new food, loves being outside, loves animals hockey and video games, and says the funniest things when I'm least expecting it. He makes weird noises all the time that drive me crazy, hates vegetables, loves his puppies movies and music, and I just love everything about him.
